What Is The Best Intake To Get For P5? Short Ram Air Or Cai? What Brand Does Everyone Prefer?
i have a K&N Typhoon intake, i bought it from protegegarage.com and from what iread from other owners it is the best of the best. the price may seem high but when you install it and see all the well thought out mounting equipment you'll know hwy everyone likes em so much. i love mine.

That is exactly why I love mine and don't really like the Injen..

its easy. takes about 20 to 30 minutes after you remove the factory box, call me if you need one. or if you have a fax # i may be able to fax the instrucions to you to look at or toucan can send you the instructions via email

I bought one from Ebay. The one with the gray couplings, it was incomplete, no instructions and wasn't a good fit. It's on its way back to the seller. Justin hooked me up with a ractive SRI. Thanks again.(rockon)

.
I bought a generic $26 Ebay sri, blue couplings, fits decent, looks decent, sounds good, and cheap is good. I sure can't see paying 10X the price for Injen or whatever, seeing as how at most your're getting, what, a couple hp? If I had to do it again, i'd get the $60 ebay cai, cold air is good air. But i'm going to come up with something ghetto with some dryer duct or something to plumb cold air into the sri. The problem of "overheated air" getting into the sri is overrated; i've put em on numerous cars and never seen mileage go down or anything.

Get something you like and are willing to pay for.

I love my Liveonspeed eBay CAI. Great sound (I replaced the filter with a K&N cone), and it looks good aside from the blue breather hose and connectors (but they sell a red one now I think). Highly recommended.

I'm waiting on my CAI from Liveonspeed!!! Bought the red one!!! woo-hoo!!
