intake help!!

i just installed my ebay intake, i sounds good, i got it to stop hitting the brake thing, but i can't figure out where to mount the sensor thing that was on top of the old intake tubing. can someone please help me.

heres i pic of mine before i diddy'd up my engine bay. i hope youre referring to the MAF (the black box, mass air flow sensor), which you can see it in the picture.

no the senor thing that was mounted on the tubing ,close to the throtle body

i can't get any picture now but it was the thing that slid into the tubing and had hoses coming out of it it didn't seem to have anything to do with the intake it was just mounted there

Think your referring to the temp sensor. That should be inserted into the intake tube. Unless the ebay one does not have a hole for it.

I think you are referring to the solenoid. It had a place to bolt on on the stock intake, but not on your new one. Injen intakes do not have a place to put it either. I have seen some people zip tie the purge solenoid to their strut bar....I hope this is what you are talking about, if not I have just wasted about 25 second of your life

I know what you mean, I had same issue before when I had ebay intake.
just cut pipe about 2 inches then you will be fine
