Hey guys,

Doesnt anypone have suggestions about where i calgary i can get my INJEN CAI installed? Im looking for a reliable tuner someone who really knows what they are doing.

Any help woudl be great..thanks for reading

Any tuning shop will be able to do it. For what you will be paying you might as well try to put it in yourself. Relatively easy install, if you got the tools

By any chance...you 2 coming out Saturday Aug 21 for our meet in Canmore? We're meetin 11AM, Canmore Nordic Centre.

Sunridge Mazda stocks them and will probably install them too. Speedtech has them as well but Sunridge mazda is a lot cheaper. I think budda always uses North Hill Mazda.

An Injen Intake is usually about $300 from what I have heard.

$300?? are you serious? from the dealer? yea i got a quote from speedtech and tuner works both were around 500 after taxes....i got my online for 352 CND...... but thanks for the info i ll ask if they do the install.

500 for an injen. thats insane, i was quoted just over 400. Then I opted for the AEM which was half the price. Before you buy anything for your car check with MOPAC first. Most tuner companies buy their stuff through MOPAC and then add 50-60 bucks. I learned this the hard way when I payed 40 bucks extra for a A-pillar when I could have gotten it from MOPAC.

You should do the install yourself, its really easy. If you dont have the tools I know Canadian Tire will lend out tools for free.

I would say AEM is your best bet...it has good fitiment and it is a quality product. I bought the Ractive short intake because I believe the gains are so minimal between the AEM and the Ractive. The Ractive was $99. It doesn't fit the best by any means but it is functional and provides noticeable gains at high RPm's over the stock air box.

..

Thanks for the info guys. I got my Injen CAI for $352 Canadian shipped to my door, so i think the price is good. I didnt' know the dealers install this stuf though.

Dealers install but they charge you alot. Take it to North Hill Mazda if you are getting a dealer to install it. They charge "time spent" instead of hourly.

Wth

Okay the dealers have no clue about the CAI....Kramer say oh yea we can do it,,,probably around $120...but they have no idea......I went to north hill today and the guy was questioning if INJEN even makes a CAI for the MSP....and said 2 hours,,,$160, the guy even called sunrdige and sunridge says they dont sell them, when i saw it at the dealership yesterday.....so i think they have no clue what they even carry.

Any other suggestions...i got my cai and cant wait to get it in the car.!!!

Unlimited Performance & Exhaust, Speedtech, Impressions, Autodream, do it yourself..call around..
