Infotainment System Bugs

Jeez I'm talking about the BM model. Not base. Its the model code of the current 3.

The bug that mutes the driver's speaker when using the satnav even when satnav volume is 0 seems to have been fixed in v31.

Can others with v31 verify please? Just tried it this morning and I heard no mutes!

My infotainment cannot loading in, it keep loading with Mazda logo. It was the 2nd time within 3 weeks.
Anyone encountered this issue before, and is there any solution for this?

Kenshin.
What version are you in, and where are you located?

Come on. I love the Infotainment system on my "Lexie"
Waaaaay better than other competitor. Look at Mitsubishi's, Honda's, Subaru's and even the A class's info systems. They are years behind mazda

Every sophisticated system will have a bug or two. I can't turn off the tuner, so I just mute it, at times.

I basically bought an iPod nano and am using that now. Too much trouble with MP3 USB sticks, you get random hang-ups, takes forever to read and cache the stick, and if you make changes it has to re-cache it, and it can't update the cached version it shows as a (1) instead.

The only annoying part about the Apple integration is about a 5-20 second delay before you can skip to the next track.

I thought I read in the manual that you can save memory stick music to the system's hard drive.

OMG. I almost spat the pop out of my mouth when I read your comment. Seriously? You wouldn't by any chance work for Mazda do you? Mazda entertainment (infotainment) tech is from the mid 2000s. How is that sophisticated?

Nope, that's not correct. Have another look. There is no saving of anything except the updating of maps. In theory though, it can download via data tags of the song you're play.

I agree, I wish there wasn't a lag when skipping between songs. Hoping Mazda catches onto Apple CarPlay

The Mazda infotainment system is considered to be equal to or better than those offered by all other vehicle manufacturers. (according to most of the car mags, like Car & Driver, Road & Track, and Motor Trend.)

Tell us about an OEM system that works and looks better than mazda's and has more features.
Even the i-Drive is buggy as sh***!
