Improper Tire Rotation

Ok get this, I have my tires rotated every time I have my oil changed (3000 Miles). So this past weekend I am doing a detailed cleaning job on my rims When I notice that the tred pattern is going the wrong direction! Last time I was at the dealer for my tuneup/ oilchange the moron rotated my tires like they were normal radials! They probably have like 2k miles worth of travel on them like that. Will this toatly fubar my tires? Any suggestions on a course of action?

no it did not accelerate the wear, but its a BIG safety issue. it would be very unsafe to drive in the rain with the tires rotating backwards.

i would call your service manager ASAP and alert him about this. no, nothing was hurt or damaged, but its stupid that such a minor thing had to happen, because its a potential hazard.

thanx man! I was really hoping there would be no wear problems I really didn't want to have to plop down another 200 bucks for tires after just having 2 replaced becsuae of nails in the sidewall. Ahh the wonders of owning a new house in an area where there is still construction.

If you have nail/damage issues, get the road hazard packages. I've had plenty of tires replaced with them. Only $10-15 per tire, and on low profiles, it's worth every penny. Saved me from buying 2 tires already.
