I'm ashamed of what I've done.

:
RDX Aspec Adv.
I know I harp on the cx5 not being a sports vehicle all the time, but I DO have the Type R version, so when a v6 mustang (2005-2010) pulled up next to me at a 60 roll and dropped a few gears, and the perky little blonde and her boyfriend wanted to run it, I obliged. 60 to 80 they slowly inched about a fender, 80 to 100 I halted them, and after 100, I steadily inched away. This repeated something like 4 times before I grew too tired of it to tempt my insurance rates and all that again. Anyway, thought I'd share my sins and gloat a bit at the same time over the damage I did to two young egos.

That makes sense. I didn't think the drivetrain was up to big power.

It is. I know of a couple turbo mazdas 3s skyactive. One is at 245whp right now, up from about 155 advertised, which means over 100hp, since the advertised isn't actual whp.

LOL!

(boom05)

Did you happen to notice what your MPG's were at that speed?

Seriously, it's stock as a rock. I don't believe in modding a vehicle like the CX-5, you know that. The only thing I can think of is that the gear ratios vastly favored me.

I know,,,, but it was funny!

Can't wait until you drive my car again! I think you'll like it!

What mods did you have on that 350z? Mid mount turbo? Forged piston? Nishan tuned? Stock?

It was a 370Z. It was stock + tint + + V1 + smooth bellows, Berk CBE, and Wilcox filters (drop-in) + full panel/car wrap
The Z06 before it was stock + tint + V1+ wrap
The WS.6 before that was Stock + tint

I learned early on if it won't do 99% of what I want in OEM configuration, I bought the wrong one...

a v6 mustang (2005-2010)

I always heard bad things about V6 mustangs.
When I drove a 2013ish V6 rental in Hawaii for a week I expected it to be a total piece of crap, but it impressed me with it's power and agility.

Apparently the POS label only applies to the 2010 V6 (210HP 4.0L!) but after the 2011 refresh it's a decent car with 305HP out of a slightly smaller engine.
