UPDATED - PICS:I think i may have the deal of a lifetime on FMIC!!!!

Hi I been here for about 3 weeks so far and have read and read and read. I really wanted a FMIC but 900 is waaaaayyyy to much for a couple of peices of metal. so i did some reseach and pulled in a few favors and i think i came up with the perfect solution.

who would be interested in a 650 dollar FMIC, Brand new.
What i will use for the intercooler
21"x9"x3"
Inlet Size: 2.5" o/d
Outlet Size: 2.5" o/d
End to End Length: 31"
This intercooler will flow over 800cfm and is capable of supporting more than 550hp! Polished to a mirror finish on all surfaces

All piping will be custom bent by a friend of mine and i will probably replicate a already manufactured kit. Why go through the R&D Twice!!!! this kit will replace all plastic pipes as well. SR and CAI i will leave to the professionals!!!

My questions to you all.

What grade of metal should i use/do you want?
and would atleast 10 of you be interested in this!

Im starting this tomorrow

where in MD are you located? Im probably getting the hardpipes BinaryRotary is producing. My question is if you could fabricate your FMIC to those hardpipes. He says that his hardpipes will be fitted and formed the same way as stock...

IS it a bar and plate IC or a tube and fin? Also, what type of hose connectors, and clamps are going to be used. :D

click attachment for pic of what it is, i don't know i just know it can hold alot of boost and its $300 less then the cheapest one i could fins so far. I just set up the deal with the intercooler supplier so i can get them cheaper. Now on to the tubing guy. Can someone supply me a pic that i can bring to the piper so he can tell me how much, maybe some demensions of the current pipes used in the after market kits.

You know all you people that got FMIC take out a measuring tape and make some notes to help out your fellow MSP buddies

Germantown, Mountgomery county!

Land of the rice patrol!

Side note just bought the IC!!!

oh and one last note, I am keeping my prices low because i am only going to make no more 20 dollars profit. I am not into this for the money at all, i got another business for that, I just hate how no one ever tries to help out the little guy with shallow pockets. So since it is tax season and i got a little back i am willing to do the marketing and negotiations to get us MSP-ers a quality FMIC kit. just in my research today most of these kits sold are marked up well over 200-300 dollars!!!

Don't worry Enry and Antione i will become a vender here in the next week or so as discussed earlier.

AutoBox I would love some help!!!

What would help:

Hose connectors and clamps - what should i use?
I am trying to find the grade of aluminum/steal to use with no luck or time so far - if you can find that that would be great
Also does anyone have a piping schematic - this would save alot of time when i go to my pipe guys.

This applies to everyone. The more support i get the faster and smoother and better this project will turn out. And the less the product will cost!!!!!!!!!!!!

i would check local metal suppliers...u can probably find good grade aluminum for cheap thru plumbing and the like suppliers.....hit me on aim or email compgeek and we can hook up and layout the piping...once u got the measurements and angles is not hard for a metal works guy to bend the piping and set u up...i work with cad programs also if he needs it that way...i can lay it out in 3d for whatever also......

kool AutoBox, I am familiar with cad too, we use a lil Map 5!!!

I'll hit you up on AOLIM when your own and we can discuss!! feel free to hit me up too!
