this s*** has been really bothering me for almost a week now.....

(Background) - my neighbor has taught his dog to s*** in my yard, the dog will leave his yard to come s*** in mine.... and the dog is always chasing my cat...
(rewind) about 6 months ago, his dog and my other neighbors dog saw my cat and chased it into my garage, where my dog and I were, they saw the dog and forgot about the cat, so... they come over and start biting my dog....
So I promptly kicked the attacking dog in the head knocking him out.... I said "you need to keep your dog out of my yard" ...he mumbled some s*** and left when the dog came to...

fast forward to last saturday.... I was sitting here in front of my PC when I see his dog walk out of his yard into mine and start shitting... so I pushed out the screen and jumped out the window and chased the dog off...

....so this fat asshole and his jabba the hut looking wife come running over cussing, yelling and calling me names.... (long story short these people crossed several different lines with me) ...all I said in return was "whats wrong with me not wanting your dog to s*** in my lawn?" ....then the dude (he about 55 yrs old 6"3 300lbs) comes into my yard saying "come over here" in a threatening manner.... I said "are you inviting me to something?" if I'd have gone over there like he wanted - I have no doubt I would have crippled him in front of his entire family & his son....

I really need some advice... I called the sheriff & animal services... the only thing I can do is sue him for destruction of property for shitting in my lawn, but since I'm "just a renter" as he put it - thats out.

...I've had plenty of training in how to get in a fight and what to do in a fight... but I apparently have little training in how NOT to get into a fight...
this asshole just picked a major fight with me, and now I dont know what to do... this is going to come to a head this weekend, im sure of it....
this is really bothering me, I didnt say much at the time, because I was containing myself so as to not go to jail...

All I know is - I didnt grow up and learn how to be a person just to have some piece of s*** like him stand there threatening me, cussing me and getting his nose in my business... he even cursed my mother...

thank you for reading all this - advice is appreciated - If I cripple the motherfucker, ill post, saying so - hopefully before the cops come....

Do you have a bb gun? If you do every time you see the dog taking a shat on your yard pop him in the ass with it. Dogs do have memory and eventually the pooch will take his shat on his own green. (thumb)

As for the neighbor next door, tell him to go f-ck himself. If it comes to blows it comes to blows just do it on your yard so you can contest self defense (poke)

do tehy have restraining orders for dogs? I mean cant u do this legally? Coming to blows, although fun, never solves anything. In fact it may come back in your face.

It depends on the laws in your city/state, but in some states a dog trespassing is just as illegal as if the owner had done it.

Also you being "just a renter" has nothing to do with your legal rights. I agree that you should find a legal way around this problem. Otherwise you'll end up kicked out of your place, or worst-case in jail.

the best advice i can give is not to resort to violence. i know thats not saying much, but thats what he wants. if he pisses you off, get even. protect your dog and cat becuase i know if any of my pets got hurt i would definately hurt the guy. just play his game back at him. get a long range water gun and shoot his dog whenever he does his business on your lawn. the dog will learn to steer clear of you and they will have a wet smelly dog. "piss" on thier lawn, buy some heavy duty weed / vegitation killer and make some crop circles. they would have to pursue one hell of a legal battle to get anything out of you for it, and they would have to actually prove it was you. most courts would just laugh at petty neighbor disputes anyway. i had a long standing hate with one of my old neighbors (he shot the tires out on our cars for kicks) and there was not a damned thing we could do about it legally, so we got even, and there wasnt a damned thing he could do about it legally. but then he died because he was old, angry and overweight.

Just remember you will probably have to deal with this guy for a while since he is your neighbor. The water gun sounds like the way to go since you have a cat and a dog, you
don't want to give him motivation to retaliate against your animals.

Arlin, I dont know what to tell you man. I would give a lawyer a cal and see if theres an easy legal way to solve the problem, but if not just get the guy to throw the first punch on your lawn and then just beat him good enough that he knows he got beat. Seriously, I had a neighbor that pulled that s***. His pitbull would come into my lawn and do that. So I called the cops and said that a "threatening" dog was coming into my lawn and we had a younger brother around. The guy was a total douche about it. So, i shot the dog about 50 times with my autococker. Dog ran back to his house covered in a new shade of blue and orange. Problem solved.

Make a note, I love dogs. I tried to go up to the dog nicely and it nearly bit me. Otherwise, I wouldn't of done that.
