I agree that it is a tire warranty and one must go through the tire company. I however, think it should be part of the vehicle warranty because shared responsibility is usually bad as in, the tire problem was caused by alignment or no, the problem was caused by a defective tire and the vehicle owner is in the middle. ed
Also why they suck even more for wear if you lower the car (aside from looking absolutely ridiculous with the stock offset).If it's a case of the owner needing new tires due to the mileage they have, there is no reason it would be covered under warranty. My OEM Toyo's only lasted me about 32,000 miles. In one of the other threads the OP posted they stated they needed 4 new tires, so I'm thinking it likely relates to how many miles they have. The OEM Toyo's only have a 300 treadwear rating, which is pretty low.
