I just recently got an 07 MS3, stock with the navi, and it's driving me nuts because I can only use it when I am at a complete stop, maybe I'm missing something, is there ANY way to disable this feature?? I want to be able to use the navi whenever I want, not only at a complete stop. Thank!

I think most navigators need to be complete stop to input your address or change locations. My magellans and mio are both like that. My friends Lexus Is250 as well. So i think its normal. Only few good expensive navs would allow you to change stuffs while you are running.

i have a 130 dollar garmin piece of s*** nav, but it allows me to turn this feature off. i've never used the nav in the ms3, but there should be a way to disable that feature

I haven't found a way to disable it yet. It is a bit annoying, but with the clunky controls, it's probably much safer to just do it when you're stopped.

I remember seeing a thread awhile back about someone who found the wire that tells the nav your moving and he attached a switch to it so he could toggle the feature on and off. Let me see if I can find it.

found it, it's on the m3f though

Basically you need to either ground the white wire in the back of the nav system or wire it to a switch.
