i may sell my car.

it is paided off, but i am sure it depreciated like a rock. i am thinking of remodeling my house, and i am really feeling the void that happened when i sold my truck. love the car, but damn constructions supplies runs will be retarded.

i have taken it pig hunting, and would have stuffed the dead animal on a tarp if i had scored. sheetrock...wont fit.

are you from tx??

you can rent a truck at lowes or home depot for $20 for 75 min for taking supplies home(or whatever) if needed. that sounds cheaper than losing your ass on depreciation.

you cannot rent a truck enough to remodel a home. i would buy the thing for the company.

depreciation on the mazda..i didnt buy it to make money. i hated car payments. i paid off the car in just a few payments. my main deal is i would miss such a fun car. i am from texas...moved to the bay area a long time ago.

I don't see the point of this post but what do I know.

Good luck??

As gay as it sounds, maybe you should start a twitter account.

ha....but i would say go find a lil beater truck....an old f150, dakota(bigger than ranger or s10 size), etc.....you can find a good used one for a couple grand and hey....second vehicle....

i know i love my dakota as a second car plus i can actually haul and move s***....it's nice

yea, maybe a beater truck. four cars is going to be a tough sell for the wife. i have a restored older porsche 911 sitting in the garage.

1. Tell wifey that the beater truck is already depreciated as much as it's gonna be, so you really can't lose money on it.

2. Buy it, move the materials, then sell it.

3. Chances are you'll get as much or more for it when you sell as you paid for it.

4. If you do it right, you'll make a little profit on the sale and can give the profit to wifey.

5. Everybody is happy.

(Alternative scenario: wifey likes the utility of the beater truck and asks you to keep it around).
