i may sell my car.

well for one, i am myself from the south. i grew up around people like that my whole life. i dont have a crazy strong southern accent or anything, but i do like me some lynyrd skynyrd(band2) coors lite in a can is really good. larry the cable guy started out on a local radio station here and me and my friends have been using that term for like 15 years now. so if i wanna say "git er done" to a fellow southerner i will damn well do so. sorry if you have no sense of humor.(ugh).

how ironical (rlaugh)

Seriously though, you are going to sell your speed3 so you can buy a truck for ONE kitchen remodel? How big is your kitchen, 5500 sq ft? I know the trips back and forth to HD get annoying and you never remember it all but you seriously can rent a Uhaul pickup for $24 a day.

no...full house, stud out remodel.

i would imagine 40% of my materials coming out of lowes or home depot. those stores are good for only the basic building materials.

curious how many responders live at home with their parents....(uhm)

I thought you said just a kitchen remodel, dont know where I got that? So you are doing a stud out on the whole house? Whatever building supply company you go with (your right HD/Lowes will be to expensive) will deliver a majority of it if ordered correctly up front. A pick up truck certainly isnt going to do all that. IMO selling a car to get a car just for that one project is a waste, then you will sell the truck when done and buy another at major loses on top of what you are already eating selling the 3. Find a work around and go for it. And so you know, I havent lived at home for over 20 years and have done multiple stud out remodels in my life.

curious why that matters (uhm)

from the entertaining responses, i was just thinking out loud...that is the thing about being curious...most of it doesnt matter. if it did matter it goes from being curious...to a full blown question.

mazdaspeedster...great point. this would be my first major renovation. most of it would be done by the pros, but i think i can handle plenty on my own. pretty nervous about it. not only will i need supplies, i imagine running tools about would come into play. just sounding off on a public forum. i dont take jack personal. i KNOW i would get an answer 180 degrees off, if i posted up the same thread on a truck forum....

now back to the redneck jokes.................
