CX-7 GT Black/Black
and KTL Automotive Services, I have been randomly selected to be considered for my car to be emission tested.

Things I get:
Unlimited use of current model mazda vehicle at no charge.
They pick up and drop my cx7 off from home or work.
Inspection of emission control systems.
$150.00 when they return my car.
Theyll fill the tank, wash and vacuum my car.

They dont say how long theyll have my car for.

So should I do it?

i dont know nothing about ktl,but you can bet that if you ask me to take my car somewhere,i ll be in the car, nobody s going away with my car!!!

I'll go for it since they will have you use their car (I would ask an RX8 or even a CX9) so if they don't return your car for some shoddy reason, you have a replacement. And be sure to have a written document for whatever they're gonna do.

NO. A vehicle emissions safety inspection should last for no more that an hour. Too much free time for joy riding and the like. I wonder if this is a legitimate Mazda request. Call your dealer to find out. Ed

eh, that sounds a little fishy, but if it's legit, take a two hour lunch while they're doing it and go fishtail a rx-8 for a little while.

It sounds like an OK thing, and Since we're insured, and my insurance company gives out KBB Value if your car is declared a total loss in the first year, and I paid thousands under invoice, they can take mine as long as they need to. ++Free Mazda to drive around?! Why didn't they send me the offer :( haa jk

Why would anyone in their right mind specifically target the CX-7 for joy riding opportunities?

(rlaugh)(rlaugh)

There have to be slightly better target vehicles to joy ride.

Maybe they think CX 7 owners are easy prey or weak minded?

Or maybe they're just a legitimate business.

Honestly it's much easier to go bag on a vehicle by just test driving one (I was in the market for a Porsche Cayman S last year, they gave me one for an afternoon to have an extended test). Why go through all the hassle of creating a shell company and sending out mail to owners of vehicles?
