Finding someone with your same interests is ideal. Of course, when I first met Greg, he washed my car with joy-he didn;t know the first thing about cars (lol), but now I have made him into a full-fledged car nut.
My point is, if she really likes you, she will make an effort to get involved with you in your hobbies too. Of course, NEVER assume that just because she isn't into cars when you meet her, that it means she couldn't be.

Kentucky is nice. we are in Louisville, right on the north border of Kentucky and Indiana. what's strange is I would have never guessed "Hickville, Kentucky" to be the Rice capitol of the US! lol

i consider myself very very lucky guy! my g/f is the hottest thing in the world AND she drives a cool car. okay okay, it's a 98 civic, but for a girl's car it's pretty pimped with bumpin ice, slammed, rimmed, body kit, intake, exhaust etc, etc. i love goin to car shows with her, me in my pro and her in her car. guys are fukin funny, they start trippin all over them selves, not realizing her man is in the car behind her. lmfao!! ( altho i do get more trophies then her and she's none too happy bout it!)

My lesson learned. I bought my now ex a 2001 Mitsu Eclipse Spyer GT, one of the first all black GTS in Atlanta. She didn't want a turBO, wtf, so I got an 2000 Civic Si with upgrades, don't dog a Honda, you'll see why in the corners. Now I got my own little toy an all black MSP soon (spool msp upgrade). LESSON: you can't change a girl into 'loving' the thrill of a fast car (its fast enough, huh, wtf did you just say).
