He probably knows what a Limited Slip Diff, but you added the term Transmission on there. Its not a tranmission, just part of it.
That is were the confusion happen. Thinking you were talking about a whole trammission and not part of it.

REMillers was right... I was making fun of you. Cause the way you said it was misleading.. but anyway... I know what an LSD is and I know what a transmission is... bla bla bla.... it was just supposed to be funny, but it was my mistake....:D

Im not sure as soon as my cousin comes over we're gonna rip the tranny apart and see what the problem is... I hope its something small and that it could be fixed!

MY TRANS BROKE TOO...NO MODS

My trans just broke too. I have no mods to my engine. Does anyone know what the oil replacement time is on the stock manual transmissions?

Same scenario. I was going from 3rd to 4th (around 5K RPM) and *POP* it just popped out of 3rd. Odd thing is the trans is still in 3rd gear. The shifter just popped out. Clutch is still good though. Cars still under extended warranty, but I hope they don't give me $h1t trying to pin this on me.

BTW jaje & Remillers I'm in DC. I bought my p5 in N. Va.

Since we are on the topic.. If I have a new aftermarket clutch and flywheel and a short shifter (this is a dumb quesiont, but just in case) and my tranny craps out on me, am I S.O.L. as far as warranty? Or can I put all the stock parts back on and hope the dealer doesn't notice?

taking it to dealer today.

Probably the shifting fork.

Thanks for the feedback. I can at least go in there sounding like I know what I'm talking about. I checked out the owners manual...(which is anyone has lost theirs in available on mymazda.com)

There is a transaxle oil (for stick shift) replacement scheduled at 48k miles (78k km). I got my car looked at 20k and 37k. Now it's at 60k and I was going to bring it in, but it's broken now. (yeah I drive a lot). So we'll see what happens.

Do you know of any businesses that can ship the tranny over?

I'm from Herndon and have an 88 CRX HF with a d16a6 in it and am slowly building another d series motor to accept a 14b turbo and run 12-13 psi. As for head studs ARP makes the best units along with using the "updated" honda stock headgasket (stock "updated" honda studs are also pretty good)...you can get them cheap from www.manhonda.com

go with the z6. Best SOHC motor IMO. Atleast for boost.
