Hypertech - Mazda 2 Tuning Chip - Product Request Form - PLEASE FILL OUT!

I'm sorry but you're an idiot if you stop during one of those runs even at the top. It draws way too much attention...There's usually cops waiting at bottom eyeing you as you go up anyways...we run small, light and fast...hit it hard and get the **** out...We'll usually run from the LA side over the mountain and exit the other side to make it less obvious...you can chill or take pictures somewhere else...really sorry but that's just stupid and you all deserve to get your hoods popped at that point...

Dude, it's not some Fast & Furious 100MPH blast through high speed canyon roads or anything. You must be thinking of a different road than I am. You have to drive 20 minutes up the mountain to the parking spot before you even get to the road that people actually run. People go up one by one and meet up there, and that's how they've been doing it almost every night for the past 20 years or more. Hanging out with the guys at the top is as much of why people go to this road as the run itself. I've been there almost a thousand times (not an exaggeration, I went three or four nights a week for around five years), and only on three or four occasions did we have any issues with law enforcement. Even when they did come up, it didn't matter to me because I've always kept my cars street-legal.

Also, if you don't stop at the top on this road, you're creating a safety hazard yourself, because people coordinate runs and make sure that nobody goes down when there's already a group out on the road.

Anyway, this thread really isn't the place for this discussion.

Font have you also posted this info on other M2 sites? If we get global requests it shall be inevitable.
Global Domination is the goal.

Good call! Although I have not really been on the other Mazda2 forums as I got my hands full with this one. It's surely on my mind now. :)

You could just try diverting their attention this way. That allows you to keep your focus here while drawing more attention.

Font have you heard anything from these guys in awhile?
I know it hasn't been long but any news is better than none. I'm interested in the possible gains they can get. It will reveal just how much potential was capped off my Mazda.

Nuttin'... Let's give it a little more time. They have a schedule they have to meet. If what they say is legit and we did in fact send in enough requests then we should now be on their development list. Hopefully that'll be soon. But in the mean time please go over to the Mazda2 Hypertech Thread and rage some hell!

Good news, i heard from Hypertech again and they are in fact listening and will be developing for the Mazda2 just as soon as it comes up in their schedule. There is no time frame at the moment as they have a set schedule and other things are ahead of us. But they seem to be excited to create one for the Mazda2. No doubt.
