Hwy 9 Fun Run!

Ya
Thats pretty much true, but aren't there a couple of nice sweeping hairpins, like that one on the 9. Sometimes those tight and winding rd.s just get exhausting. Its' nice not risking my life on all the blind, one lane turns.

Hey look the rain is stopping, and the sun...hmmmm?

i wanna hit 236 that road is fun, if its not wet tonight lets do the old santa cruz loop to 236 lol... that loop was like a 90 mile loop last time

Haha, Ilan I was just making a joke.
Page Mill is one of my most favorite roads evar. It's one of the few roads that gets me in the mood to do a bit of dancing with the Miata ;)

I'll take some tight hairpins and sweepers over 100-mph balls to the wall looooong sweepers, like on Skyline. You're right, they get exhausting, but we're so lucky to have Skyline in the middle for when you get tired of yanking left and right.

hehe, that kid's "Page Mill isn't technical enough" comment is gonna go down in history. That's like saying the salt flats are too twisty or some s***. (lol2)

Where did he write this? I find Page Mill to be plenty technical... especially when you bounce off the shotty patchwork while making a hairpin left-hander.... with the mountain immediately to your right side.

I still think we should someday take a cruise up Felton/Empire - Empire Grade.
I think it's a good road, but a bit too populated for my tastes. Perhaps a Midnight Run?

Nah, it was this dumbass asian kid in a black WRX. We mentioned that we were gonna go drive Page Mill and his response to that was "Nah, I dont like Page Mill, it's not technical enough for me." This was right before he tried to outrun Natey on the 9 uphill. Instead, he prefered to drive the Saratoga side of 9 for hours on end and nothing else because that was the most technical road out there.

thats a good deal on that bar, i wonder if they have any for eg6?...o yea by the way im getting a pipe bender next week i think, and i allready have a welder so i can make exaust, rollcages, piping ect

O.k that makes more sense now...sarcasm is hard to pick up for me on the computer. I feel like a f'ng immigrant on this thing sometimes with all the lingo and sh*t.

The funny thing is that it really isn't the most tecnhnical road up there. Something about black rd. down hill gets un nerving. Evern worse is going down bear creek past below summit rd. That is the only place I almost lost it.

Anyhoo I'd be into going for a drive today. I just need to get outta work. But I might take my motorcycle out now that the sun's out. But it'll depend on the time. \

So when would you want to go for a drive??
