How to update Nav system software, but not maps

I'd like to update the nav software, but I'm not ready to get my free map update. Can one update nav (via TomTom Home) without triggering the 60-day map update?

Yes, this is documented in "how to". You have to do a menu selection in Home to get the one time map update but the program update is available when released as is quick GPS...

Can you provide a thread name? I searched the cx-5 how-tos (even b4 starting this thread) and did not find the update how-to.

you just deselect the map from the available options of 'updates' list
