for 12000k that is not blue...they should be purple by normal color temp standards.
but 55Ws are mostly white which makes the color scale way off. 30000k 55ws are purple where-as 12000k 35Ws are purple, see what im getting at?
yes, the added lumens do wash out the color, but what you're really trying to say is that the "K" ratings they use are completely invalid, and are applied subjectively.
I have standard 35w with 10k's. Yeah they are blue, but they aren't "too blue". I've put the same set up in my last three cars and have been very happy with them.
