Ok smarties no funny answers. I know I know... I am not a mechanic I just want to make sure I have the most dependable car i can have guys and gals.

if your clutch starts slipping alot....aka your rpms climb but your speed does nothing and you smell a really funky burning smell....time to install new one

i don't think so.....i kinda like it....

it allows a lil bit quicker shifts......about the only time i push to the floor is when i'm stopped or stopping...other than that it's a quick 3 inches pushed and that be it

basically stick it in gear with the clutch all the way down, slowly rise the clutch up to the point where it engages thats the grab point. if im not mistaken i always push my clutch all the way down when shifting, but i could be wrong i never really think about that.

<< sometimes when the car is in neutral idling a squeaky noise comes on untill i place my foot on the clutch very slightly then it stops. vice versa once i take my foot off it does it again. but it comes an goes...

if it made noise when you put your foot ON the clutch I would suspect the throwout bearing... being the opposite, idk.

Backwards. Sounds like Rooster has a bad throwout bearing. It will squeeak or squeel when the clutch pedal is out. when it's pushed bak in then the noise will go away.

i guess my roomie's mustang's was TOTALLY fubar then... because his SQUEALED like crazy when it was depressed.... and was fine when out.
