HKPRO5's Supercharger Build Thread

Ok, had time to do some cutting, got that out of the way, should have it mounted and hooked up by Sunday!

Put it all together.. I had a hell of a time thinking of how I was going to do the SC to IC. Here it is...for now, im not really happy with it but ill fix it later. Im looking to try out some pie cutting to get the tight bends. Right now I have it halfway disassembled. After I sleep ill go to napa and pick up 4 Tbold clamps. I was short some. lol

Thanks! So next project after this is getting the Cat delete from a 1996 Acura integra, then redoing the rest of the system in 2.5". Then i think im going to hit the dyno. After that im shooting for modded intake manifold and cams.

Got to use the chop saw today, got the measurements off by just a little. Ill cut the extra piece tonight and hopefully get it welded. Other than that everything is cool beans.

Ill be using a 45* coupler instead of the blue 90* on the cold side. Trying to shorten the run as much as possible.

Gotta make two more mounts, when driving to work i could hear the IC vibrating on the lower rad support. Gotta insulate and get it mounted strong.

Also if i can find an 1 1/4 aluminium pipe so i can get my ssqv on there instead of the Greddy. After these four things the IC should be said and done.

Awesome job man! It seems like that's almost like a Turbolife setup. Almost routes the same way. I can't wait to see that beast run!

nice, i like the pie cuts
how did u figure out how many cuts at X degrees to make? ive been trying to figure that out for a while

Sent the email.

Im going to try and do some welding tonight. Im going to try to arc weld it first. If that doesnt work then ill have to use the mig at work. lol

With that piece i have to add about half an inch on the coupler side and a straight side on the sc outlet

got it! im gonna try it on a piece of scrap 3" tube i have, see how it works out
the only thing i dont get, is what does length of long part of cut mean? that part is really the only thing confusing me

That would be the part that would have the straight edge (the starting point), to complete the 90* angle.

Good job.... im still waiting for mine to coem back from powder coating. but in the mean time ive been doing some engine bay clean ups and wire hiding.... Love to say tuck but ya no

After the new year passes ill be switching up to get all the repairs done to my car, like fix my side mirror, replace my fender, replace the door cards, and get the car painted. Then itll be sleeper time. lol Not sure what color I want yet.

The car itself is a sleeper it's a protege5 and a wagon:) lmk if you plan to paint got a friend. Hopefully the track opens a 1/4 mile soon so u can clock it. Keep it up Cres!
