thats what makes this community so great. people can express for themselves the situations they have had with their mazdas (obvious i know).

But not made so you can crap on someones honest opinion.

juans only reply to all this was: we have sold soooo many kits blah blah..... the best thing he said was at the very end " i will try to get in here more often". the most effort shown yet.

Your just looking for an excuse since you didn't hear him say he messed up somehow (which he didn't).

I admit to getting frustrated and aggravated at times when I cannot get a hold of Juan. I do remind myself that he lives much further away than most suppliers, is a very busy man on top of that and has always, in the end, come through for me. I've done years of business with Juan and did a few years with Beau. You simply can't make the comparison that Hiboost and MAM are even close to being one and the same in terms of quality and reliability. There are light years of difference between the two. Even if Juan does not get back to me when I'd like him to, Beau could have gotten back to me right away and simply lied to me. I'd rather have truth in silence than a load of BS. I do not get at all the level of complaints on Hiboost service or product that I got when I sold MAM parts.
At the end of the day and what I do now is I simply tell customers up front to expect a good lead time on turbo and intercooler kits and if they don't want to wait I won't take thier order. I will personally continue to support and do business with Juan as long as he or I is in the industry and willing to do so.

Why am I not surprised?

All I know is if I operated this way in IT I would be unemployed and my products would be obsolete by the time the customer got them. Anyone want a Commodore 64 I have one on backorder, it's due in about 3 years??? (poke)

Yeah, it's very disappointing. If Juan would just send me back MY money it would no longer be a problem but he seems to insist on not refunding and just dragging it out longer. But no, Im just being ignored, getting used to it. I'm obviously being unreasonable...

You should have got a skyline instead, they already have turbos and go really really fast, that way you could spend $5k on your girlfriend instead!

This is only one case, you can't judge a whole company on a few mishaps in comparison to hundreds. Honestly why do with anyone else? The kits are proven and work better than any other out there. I guess you could go el'crapo MSP setup and get some aftermarket stuff to fix it up. FMIC/hardpipes/TUNING!!!/BPV/

One ticked off customer has a bigger impact in any current and future business than any other.

That "Just 1 guy" is no less than those hundreds... I personally want to be able to go to bed every night and know that I have not worries... That I will not be that "just 1 guy".

I would love to get the kit, have heard great things of it. s***... I'll wait... don't know about a full 8-12 months... but would wait as long as a turnaround time is provided.

If you read the post and count the positive informative (Long) post vs. the short negative comments.... I go with the positive. Yet if something like this happened to me, I have to hear my wife b**** for the rest of my life... (lol2)

I service National/International accounts, its my job.... what I do for my customers, is the same thing I expect as one... that’s all.

To be honest with you... you sticking your neck out for this count’s more than what u think.

I get you, it does mean a lot on both plates with this customers issue and potential future ones. I can def. see both sides of the story. If you want to start slowly buying the kit I can get you the manifold, those are in stock. haha kidding im, no vendor i'm just a close friend. I hope whatever you go with it goes smooth. Lord knows more than half the time going turbo there is an issue waiting to arise. I had tons...fittings not going in... ie. little things that kill a day.

cool! great info shane! i think theres a lot of people out there reading this and having hope knowing there are other options out there. I think there maybe one person out there that is close to the vendor and will get special treatment because of it, but when you look back, the bottom line is the problem did not start from day one, it just has been getting progressively WORSE since then!!!!!

by the way, did you ever get your problems resolved with your hiboost kit??
