Hiboost + cold = nothing

Sounds more and more like its flooded. Ehawleys MSP was flooded last weekend, I went out there and got it running for him.

Pull the plugs,
Pull the fuel pump FUSE (the one you pulled before),
Crank the ever living s*** out of the car (with the plugs removed, coilpacks disconnected) ((Seriously for at least a minute or two in 30sec. intervals)),
DONT LET THE BATTERY DIE (Use whatever means necessary),
Clean the plugs, (brake clean will work),
Install plugs,
Install fuse.
Start the car and Don't let it DIE, (hold at 2-3k rpm.)

If it starts, change the oil too.

You have my cell # if/ when you have questions.

Once you have the haltech connected to a notebook...you can disable the injectors with one setting... and then do the above.
 
that really nice to have peeps that can help -- i have to be to work at 5am -- so i would think that if i asked someone to get up i would probly get this ------------> (upyours)

No Protege on this forum has run 11s yet. John ran high 12s on boost only. Juan ran a 12.5s on spray. To date even after many people asking many times Juan has never posted a dyno sheet that proves the 300whp claim.

Yes the most powerful cars on this forum run the MPI Tuner.

If I say our car has 330 WHP is because it does. Believe or not.

I am making progress and a dyno sheet with at least 350WHP will be posted. That is my goal now.
 
Prtezellogic has the F10 and Ken and Matt have the F10x. The F10 will not run on Halwin. Only on DOS and with windows 98 at the most. XP or later will not work.

Juan is helping him out via private communications with him DIRECTLY. Someone is making false claims about his business.. HIS OWN PERSONAL BUSINESS and you call it funny that he is defending himself? Hiboost has been defending himself from the VERY FIRST POST he ever posted on this board.

You find it funny....no words can explain how pathetic your post is.
 
If I ever go FI, I'll take the HiBoost kit... Just by keeping reading post on this website, I can tell who is talking s*** and who's not, and Juan is not!

Hope your P5 will start dude!

I don't know if anyone mentioned this but try an engine block heater which you can buy at the dealership. That should solve the problem

Why not post the dyno sheet that you made 330 hp with ??

Every time we post some good news about our products, these guys come here and start bashing us. So, if I post it, they will say that these are not the correct settings or maybe that it is a sheet from another car or that it should be in SAE or not.

Now MPNick is saying that our 12.5 second run was on "SPRAY". They just don't want to take that our P5 is the fastest Protege in this forum so far. It will be even faster in the spring.

So, why start another thread which will be many pages of BS.

I have seen people post about you running spray on two or so other threads. I have also seen post's about 300 plus whp cars. So far I have not seen any dyno sheets at all. Where is the BS. People are only asking for one dyno sheet.

Again this is not last year. Most people on this forum know alot more then they did last year. So now when claims are made people will ask questions, like it or not. Look at your boy with the hack S/C thing. He was claming a 500whp Protege just last week. They do not even have a dyno sheet, they claim maybe 375? Again people can come here and make claims all day long. Do not get upset if you are asked for proof.

Take this tread for one. No one would talk about cold starting problems on the open forum. Now the man is down for three days. Being more open with info is not a bad thing at all. Three customers already posted that the cold start problem is not a big deal for them. So it looks like the rest of the kit is so good and your support is also that good where no one is going to worry about the start problem anyway. So this thread will not cost you any sales down the road.
 
Just FYi, it's in the 30's here in Alabama today and my stock ecu P5 is having trouble starting. It cranked over for about 10-15 seconds before catching.

p.s. oh no's!! mpdick says my supercharger is a "hack"....hahaha.

To be honest, I haven't been reading anything in this thread that doesn't pertain directly to my problem. Seriously, can we keep the in-fighting out of this stuff? It's depressing to see this kind of s*** in the forums.

Tomorrow I'm going to pull the plugs and try to get her started.

It was in the 30's here last week, my car started fine - just hit both buttons on my remote and let the autostart do it's thing. Only remaining mod on my car is the exhaust (and it's pretty much just a muffler at that). My engine has 24,000 miles on it - but the starter has 42,000.
