its a tdi. so now I have teh protege es and the tdi as a daily driver. god I love the interior its so sexy ^_^

only problem is now I am torn between the two trying to decide which one to make a money pit lol (dark)

I dunno man... you can make a TON of tq on a Golf TDI with an ecu reflash and some breathing mods. Then it starts spewing black smoke but hey...

never thought id here myself say this but, throw some money at the tdi. like jhova said, you really can make some very good tq #'s with that engine. diesels are torque monsters.

I was just looking at some chips for the TDI
with one you can have yourself a 120hp monster
