Help with the cat

I'm switching out the exhuast on my 3 sedan and can not get the old cat off worth the life of me. I tried wd-40, liquid wrench, pure force nothing is working. Please tell me that there is something that im missing

Propane torch and water.

Heat the b**** up real good, then hit it with the water, worked to get the bolts off my p5
