Does the Spec stage 1 clutch for the N/A Protege fit on the MSP?
Or must I buy the 100 Dollar more expensive Spec Stage 1 clutch made especially for the MSP? What's the difference that justifies 100 dollars?

Not sure exactly. I have seen replies on the forum that it will. But the difference is in the holding power. I wouldn't put an NA clutch in as a replacement, if your OEM failed. Just get the Spec stage 2 ( Kevlar vs organic material), and you will not have any issue. You need to break the Spec in for the first 400 miles.

I have a Spec stage 2 in my Probe, and it holds 10 and 15 psi all day long. Right now, the prices for MSP Spec's are high. I am hoping that they come down some when my MSP needs a new clutch. I am definitely going with a Spec stage two when its time to replace my clutch.

spend the money the first time this way you dont have to spend it twice. If you want cheap just get oem.
