help please

This is my 1st post,I got a 2004-2005 L23 motor from FRED JONES ENTERPRISES.I have a 2006 mazda3,After looking at it i seen a few things that are different
1st the valve cover
2nd the front timing over
3rd oil pan
4th intake cam
has anyone ran in to this problem before fred jones is telling me the motor will not work i have the old donor motor,
can i just change everything out

04-05 ecu's are different I believe, so it won't work unless you swap ecu's.

ok thanks, anything else you can think of that will not work?

intake cam would be different. 04-05 2.0's didn't have VVT on the intake cam, but 06+ do. I'm assuming then it's a 2.0? What's the old motor and what's the new motor going in? Both 2.0? or 2.3?
