Soo I got a place where I've got my car aligned before to install shocks. I ordered the Koni FSDs but they accidentally put on yellows, didn't really care about that. Also the fronts were in but not the backs so I had them install the fronts and I'm waiting on the back. Anyway I saw something was cracked after they were installed and yesterday I saw that cracked piece come off. Its clearly their fault I think. What part is this that came off and do I need to fix it immediately or can it wait a week or two?

Also it seems like the shock on the passenger side is not lined up with the hole in the engine bay and they seemed to have beat up all the paint surronding that opening.

This is the passenger side view that seems to be offcenter and you can see that metal piece, thats how i found it sitting there when i was jumping my friends car: http://www.flickr.com/photos/10343238@N06/3595989672/sizes/l/

This is the comparison of the driver side view, its much more centered: http://www.flickr.com/photos/10343238@N06/3595182719/sizes/l/

And this is the piece that came off: http://www.flickr.com/photos/10343238@N06/3595990262/sizes/l/

Thoughts???

Sure is tough to find somewhere that does good work these days isnt it? I'd take it back there and ask them about it thats for sure.

Def bringing it back for them to look at, just hoping it can wait until the rear shocks are delivered.

yep. i do alignments and my shop and they definitly destroyed your strut mount. your one picture looks good but the other one is junk. not really sure how they would have managed to do this since ive had mine apart and there is only one way that they will even go in.......you know your good when you can break something unbreakable!
