OK, here's the deal...

I am looking into a new set of rims, my RH's have few road rash marks on them and I want something new. So, my Fist question is should I go back with 17s or go with the oh so loved 18s?
The only thing that I am worried about with the 18s is my 2 SPOOL drop and then I have AUTOEXE lower lip. I scrape sometimes now.I dont want to go too low, But I bet those 18s would look schweet too! What do you guys think? And please give opinions of rims too!

I have 18s and a Spool drop. I wish I had gone with 19s', with the right offset they would fit. The ride is harsher with the 215/35s', but not all that bad. Handles sweet:)

I would HIGHLY advise against 18" wheels in NY. 1 Pot hole and its time for another rim!

DUDE!! YOUR FROM SARATOGA!! now why have I not noticed that before....my wife is from saratoga.....next time we are up there on vacation I we will have to hook up!!

anyway...I KNOW how the roads are around there....although the 18's would look sweet.....you would be buying another rim before too long because of one or more of them being bent.....get the 17's....and go with the 215/40's......they are a tad wider...and if fact closer to the stock diameter than the 205's.

Your kidding Nuke! we already had this conversation ... LOL!

NEWS FLASH!!

Wow, and that was not even that long ago either.... ;)
Seriously though, if you are in the area, let me know and we can meet up for a few cold ones.

So, to be safe stay with 17's?

or

To look dope, go with the 18's?

17's still look good man, plus actualy have some benificail properties on bumpy streets like where you and I live. With a drop and 18's you'd just bounce off the damn road, they aren't practical here.

I think that if you took your 17's off and put 18s on, you would actually raise the car up by 1/2 inch. That's if you have the same sized side-walls on both sets of tires.. ;)
