Help Needed Mazda Deck

Hi,

I have a mazda 2001 LX model. I have factory CD player. Sound is not coming from my speakers. When i insert CD, it reads the CD and i can see the track starting to read. When i put FM/AM it acquires the stations but there is no sound coming out from speakers. The same as when we put CD. Can any one help me, what could be the problem and where i can rectify it.

If you have installed aftermarket speakers, the speaker leads maybe touching together, or one of them maybe touching a metal part of the car. Make sure that no bare part of the speaker wire is touching the car, or another bare speaker wire.
