I think new 2017 CRV has 4 way lumbar for the driver... but I don't know what that means.
Unlike CX5 which many have said that puts a smile on their faces. CR-V is something your wife might force you to buy (mine has taste, she won't) CX-5 is something you will be truly happy driving.
In the past, we lead-footed sports car lovers might have excused the Mazda’s deficiencies in exchange for its lusty driving experience. But this time, we have no hesitation in recommending the CR-V to enthusiasts as well as our automotively apathetic friends and family. It’s a narrow margin of victory, but whether your other car is a Camaro or a Corolla, if you want a compact crossover, you’ll be slightly better served by the new Honda CR-V.
Probably up and down and in and out? I don't know either.I think new 2017 CRV has 4 way lumbar for the driver... but I don't know what that means.
I and many others will take Motor Trends opinion on this debate.
LOL. This from the guy who says all the reviewers are payed off shills when they like the CX-5. (rofl)
I know you're salty about the CRV getting so much praise, but guess what? You'll just have to get used to it.
Age wise probably similar hereSame here. I see a pretty even split of CX-5 drivers here. They also tend to trend younger than a lot of other CUV drivers I've seen.

Has any reviewer addressed this:
Pros of CX-5:
1) It is FAR better looking on both the exterior and interior. Not even a close comparison.
Because, again, I think this is the single greatest reason someone would chose it over a CRV, even with all the other "shortcomings" the CX5 has. Although, I personally would not choose the CX5 if it had the Honda engine/transmission because I tow a lot.
CR-Vs "narrow margin of victory" equals Mango making sticky in his BVDs(no)
I understand that, but I can't see anyone who is looking at both cars objectively saying the CRV looks as good as the CX5; exterior or interior. The CRV does look way better than it used to, however.
Purely opinion. If the greatest reason for one item over another is "how it looks to some people"...it's probably the wrong choice, unless it's a painting.
The same way someone could possibly look at the CRV with its better handling, full second faster to 60mph acceleration, better braking, AND better mpg, and say the CX5 has a better driveline.
