- 1999 Mazda Protege 1.8 FP-DE
Hey everyone I'm new to the site, and need the wisdom of the community! I'm from Ontario Canada and I own a 1999 Protege 4 door ES with a 1.8L FP-DE. Come this summer I want to do swap the motor and I am considering a few options. My first option would be the 2.5 KL-ZE motor, but will fit? my second option would be the elusive FS-ZE motor but I have read difficulties with JDM wiring? Please help! Thanks in advance!
