Not that I wanna get them I have a train horn, air tank,compressor setup but I just wondered what all the fuss was about with these horns that would be kool tho scratch.

To each their own... They sound 1000x better than the POS stock horn. I don't think that the videos do them justice, as every time I use them they make people jump.

haha i just realized this thread was pretty old.

the youtubes and all the other videos do not do them justice, they sound great and are really loud. if you have an alarm (i have a viper one) and if it goes off, everyone in a 5 house radius will hear it go off!

For the people who don't like how they 'sound', I have to ask, what exactly does a 'good sounding' horn sound like?

I've heard a set of these in person, and the best way I can describe them is that they pierce the brain. A regular horn is loud and might make you turn your head after half a second...it takes some time for your brain to register that the horn is calling for attention.

But these Hellas have a shriek to them that grabs your attention IMMEDIATELY, which is what you want...more than sheer volume.

Just sayin.

Well I have a train setup so thats a good sounding horn to me.Make's ppl think twice about cutting me off and thats what I was going after plus if the alarm goes off ppl can hear it from about 6 blocks away.
