Headunit?

are you referring to the product at the top of the page? yes it may be cheaper but the one i showed is plug and play. (no soldering)

i think if you read down they say that the new model is easier to install no soldering and what not...(i could be wrong i just posted it real quick) also i would rather pay 20-30 $$ and do a lil soldering, with instructions mind you, then pay 75+ and have to wait till april or ?? but thats just my .02.....

i haven't looked at the back of the stock head unit but wouldn't you be soldering to pins....and that you have no idea what pins do what?
also that website mentions no compatibility to mazda.

whoa dude... its a line out adapter... it tells you what wire you need to splice into if there is soldering involved, i believe there is a wiring diagram on this site for the harness, and then its just plug and play... i am not saying its better then the alpine one or anything its just a different option, yes more do it yourself then the alpine but for the money and the result some people prefer that..... (me included)
