Just ordered my OBX headers yesterday! they should come by the end of this week! i have decided to go N/A, why not, maybe we'll live in a perfect world where i can get a new ecu.... untill then i shall do what i can.

anyone know who has the O2 simulators, cause i will probably need one.

Good deal, hoping to get 4-2-1 headers in the near future plus the Familia cams. I'd also like to stay the N/A route for now, beef up the internals then go from there.

God wish list is long. Right now just looking at what others have done to the FS-DE and more importantly the FS-JZ. The JZ specs is actually where I would like to get to. Then from there perhaps take it to 2.2 or 2.4 liters if possible.

You list pretty much mirrors mine or anyone elses as it covers just about anything that can be done

First though in order would probably be
the header+exhaust (custom made)
Cams from the JZ motor
Pistons
Polish and port
Upgrade fuel delivery
Balance

Then figure out more from there.

At most the only power adder I would think of adding would be a wet 50 shot of Nitrious.

Or if someone has a supercharger

Pro5 - No, I have not. The Diablo Autosports one yes, but not this one.

I use the same type that lake effect sells (O2 simulator) and it works like a charm Chooch on the boards also uses it.

Remiller has a point...With the NA mods you are doing...A Nitrous Express Kit will give you great gains...Nitrous loves headers and exhuasts..it help with ridding the exhuast gas quicker!

I plan on getting a header sometime this summer...

nitrous scares me..... if i used it i might crash my car. but on the other hand it would help nicely on the highway!

I would hold off on the headers. I am in the process of getting a header made for our cars that do not require o2 simulators. The same guy that has help build dave potter dream is turboing a Protege5 right now. He is also going to develop a long header while the protege 5 is there. Right now there is no set price and one is not finish I will up date you on the progress. I will be the dummie car for the long header. Once we are completed he should have a price set.

I have autoexe header, and this O2 simulator with it. I have had this set up for 6 months, and CEL never came up, but 2 occasions. CEL had disapeared in about 2 days or so. It may not be due to O2 sensor. I did not have a chance to verify the cause. The last time that I had CEL on was about 2 month ago, then gone after oil change.

see the above in comparisson to what everyone else on the thread has called it. Pro Fiz is correct its a HEADER not HEADERS does your car have more than one header, i think not stick to header not headers i never understood why ppl called it headers...

if you go to a performance shop near you who sells OBX parts, check with them. unfortunately you cant order from the site.

...because when "headers" started to show up in performance applications, it was usually for V8 and V6 therefore two where needed.
