I'm sure this is covered somewhere, but i can't find it.

Has anyone come up with a fix for dimming lights? I know the grounding kit does fak all. I think a better battery might do it.

Thoughts?

Next up...Crappy IDLE FIX??

do you mean that the lights dim when you switch on other accessories ? i'd try the grounding wires first...then if that doesn't help, ask around about alternators that could work

ground wires do s*** for dimming lights...

try an optima battery.. or get a bigger alternator...

mp5spicy - Did it fix the problem?

It mostly flicks when the fan comes on when both with the heat and the regular thermostat relay, the idle usually messes up at the same time.

I only have the stock stereo so i don't think its that. Its more of a sparatic thing. not with bass.

I know the yellow cap batteries are awesome and usually fix peoples dimming lights with big stereos, but its a new car. stock, and mazda should fix it.

Common problem. Bigger battery should about do it - complain to the dealer though. Not aware of any TSBs though - anyone know more on this?

I know my car will do it with the AC, defroster, and radio all off. Has anybody tried an upgraded wiring harness? Some companies make harnesses that run a lead straight from the battery to the headlights, and the headlight switch turns on and off a relay that makes the connection. If that doesn't fix the problem, nothing will. I *think* this is an example:
