Have any of you had this happen?

Ok, so every night i leave my car in the driveway and lock it and its always fine in the morning. But one morning i come down to my car and theres this liquid stuff all over the front seats and dashboard. It looks like something splattered everywhere. I checked the fluids and the car fluid was empty so that prolly was it but how could that happen. Have any of you seen this before?

seriously though, I have no idea what it could possibly be...maybe some condensation from the changing temperatures that just needed to be wiped off???

If you were referring to washer fluid, I don't see any way that could get inside as every part of that function is outside of the cabin...

Well now that ur talking about the weather.. Its getting really cold here lately like high 30s in the day and 20s at night, how do u think i should treat my car if its sitting in the cold all night. and what problems might occur

Um i talked to the service guy and he said sometimes the windshield wiper fluid tube reverses and shoot out backwards or somthing, he said the tube like bursts.

I have no idea, its at the dealership now and hopefully i will get some answers. They are also replacing my windshield that had a stress crack and replacing the wheel rotors cuz they are really rusted.

Regarding your rotors...how many miles do you have on the car. Mine are rusted like crazy as well.

mine are rusted alot also..i got 3200miles so far.....i got an appoitment the 15th for.......windshield (pressure crack) , rotors (rust), clunk (bushing), and sub blown (bad voice coil)..........once this is done.....10psi and turbo back are gettin put on

My rotors have been rusted since i bought the car, they just got worse. I have about 3500 miles on it. Also my windshield has a pressure crack in it too. I am aslo getting a new auto-dim mirror put in. I left my car at the dealership thursday, and htey said it will be done sat. morning. Well guess what, they call and say its not ready till monday. Also they cant get new rotors for another week, so i have to take it back in a week. This really sucks.

Regarding your rotors...how many miles do you have on the car. Mine are rusted like crazy as well.

don't rotors always get rusty when you leave the car sitting for a little while? and doesn't the rust magically disappear from them after you drive and use the brakes?

rotors rusted? never happens to me, but the hub is starting to go, thats for sure-not too bad, will probably ask my friends shop to give a quick repaint. as for the fluid, i cant think of a thing that hasnt been said yet, but i doubt its the windshield fluid...oh yeah, 20 degrees isnt cold, how about the zero here in new jersey, i think thats starting to get cold

Did you smell the liquid to find out what it was? Maybe you didn't lock your car and someone spilled a drink in there.

Also, regarding rotor rusting. I believe there is a TSB out there regarding this. If the rotors/hubs are rusted the dealership will replace them. I had mine replaced at my last oil change.
