What's the difference between a "S pipe" and a "J pipe"?? All I know is that the stock piece is restrictive, and I need it replaced. I don't care what shape it's in, as long as it flows better than the stock one:)

Yeah I remeber and SpicyMSP was the one who got annoyed I dont see proparts having any problems and like I said whats the problem with being curious about a new product. He only had us drooling like dogs over this stuff to begin with

I dont want to rain on anyone's parade, but: SMIC is only useful if you can get air to it. I'm more curious to know how you plan to pipe air to the SMIC without cutting the body, or creating some elabotate duct work for the air flow.

You "ProPartsUSA.com" come in here and parade your fancy SMIC. Funny, no price yet? Why is that? Why can't someone spend some realistic time and figure out who's "junk yard FMIC" will fit to replace the original FMIC. Develope some piping and boxes to accomodate it and deliver a product that's $100's cheaper.

This is a nice 12 page thread thats says absolutely nothing except you might have a SMIC and new downpipe.

Why don't you post when its available with an attached price?????

Why I ask you why (hand) Don't like the thread then don't open it or better yet don't read all of it...If you read the first 5 pages and don't like it and saw where it was going, STOP READING....

Thanks Proparts for all your support...keep up the good work and the updates.

You can call the J Pipe "the integrated downpipe" basically what you want =) I will have to see about that.

Someone get this guy out of my face! (poke)
1. SMIC IS ONLY USEFUL IF YOU CAN GET AIR TO IT? CUTTING THE BODY? WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT FIRST OF ALL. IT SITS RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CAR! HOW MUCH MORE AIR CAN YOU GET DIRECTLY IN FRONT WHERE ALL THE AIR IS COMING FROM! CUTTING THE BODY?? (screwy) DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT??? WHO SAID ANYTHING ABOUT CUTTING THE BODY??? LOL (dunno) Okay Junk yard fmic. good one... (braindead

(canada) (notcool)

Thanks for the info and ignore that UBER TARD!
Most of us really like to see new stuff for our cars.
Thanks for the effort.(headbang) (usa) (headbang)

Um I told you I knew. I even talked to the manufacturer before you brought them to protegefest. He told me you would have them on display. You are still lame Jeff

If this is just for the IC & no hardpipes, what do we do about the lame ass plastic pipes? As far as I know, Essential Speed is the only company who makes them (& I can't even find them on their site). Hopefully, Forge will decide to make silicone hose replacements & I can just get those, but until then, what's the deal?

I'm hoping you start a new thread with price, performance, and availability information instead of throwing it here.

Dont worry about replacing your stock plastic pipes. They were pressure tested up to 24psi. I dont know why everyone sees that as a problem.

They'll hold 24psi without blowing apart, but they expand at anything above 10 psi, and the seams leak at higher boost levels. At the track I was unable to boost above 9.5 psi, same with Mike (TBL).

Ive just relaying what i have been told by the engineers of the MSP. That wasnt my personal test or anything.
