My 8th grade year. So 94-95? Wow that was some time ago...lol

yeah, I was 20-21 at the time. Here is what I was pumping the bass in. 1977 Adventurewagen camper called Pea Soup. That ugly ass paint is original, too. That big box in the back side window held a 12" Kicker woofer. I had 2 boxes, disguised as storage boxes. They were huge. Had about 800 watts total at the time. It was loud. I miss that bus. (pours a 40 to the memories...)

Dude that thing is ****** sweet! I woulda never got rid of it. I would kill to have a shaggin wagon like that. Mad props for that!

It had 70K original miles, original motor, interior, etc. Won VWs by the Bayt in 1994, took a 2ndm, and a couple 3rds in restored Bus. I sold it because I was commuting and racking up miles. With an automatic trans, it got 17 mpg. I ended up with a CRX that got 45. Some old guy bought it, and his wife drove it to work and back. It was last seen where I sold it, Fremont, California. I miss it. I plan to find a vw out here eventually. That will be my next money drain.

He still has it, don't let the Raider fool you!

lol. If I had it, I would totally flaunt it. I gotta scan more pics into the PC of it to preserve it. Here is my 1st bug. After my mods and day1. Dig the old school white fender beading and louvered "wink" mirror.

They are the same bug. the orange is the original paint, day 1. 3 weeks later, in my 3 weeks of having a license, I bent over to pick up something, and hit the back end of a flatbed truck's safety cage. Made a pizza slice wedge out of the front of my bug up to the struts. JC Whitney and a junkyard, followed by a Chrismtas present paint job, it became blue. It got painted because my mom called it an eyesore. Orange, gray, black, and blue pieces... It was a Haloween nightmare before it got painted.
