Mazda CX-5 2023 Exclusive-Line Black Comfort Pack
For the past few months, Traffic Announcements (RDS) in my 2023 CX-5 in the Netherlands have stopped working.

Normally, playback from a USB stick is interrupted every 15 minutes by spoken traffic announcements received via an FM or DAB radio station.
At some point, I stopped hearing these announcements, but I’m not sure exactly when this happened or whether it was related to a settings change or an update of the infotainment system. At the time of announcements, USB playback is not muted.

My current settings:

1. Infotainment system version is the latest: EU08 10030
2. Remote Tuner Update for EU: 21046
3. Both FM and DAB are set to a Dutch radio station that broadcasts traffic information.
4. Traffic information and Alternative Frequency settings are enabled for FM.
5. DAB-DAB link, DAB-FM link, and traffic information are enabled for DAB.
6. I have tried selecting the radio station on either FM or DAB before switching to USB playback.

What I’ve tried to fix it:

1. Turned off the infotainment system by holding the Mute button for a longer time, then turned it back on.
2. Accessed the DIAG screen with the three-button combination and performed a soft reset by exiting.
The system did fully reboot, and all settings and navigation favorites were retained.
3. Disconnected the battery terminal for 5 weeks (due to vacation) and reconnected it.
Electric windows and radio stations had to be set again, but all other settings were retained.
4. Factory reset via the System Settings menu (hard reset).
All infotainment settings were reset to factory defaults, and all 71 navigation favorites were deleted :-(

I’ve checked the radio settings countless times.
I've also reported the problem to my Mazda dealer, but they have no idea.
They, in turn, contacted Mazda Corp. Netherlands, but they don’t have a solution yet either.

Anyone with the same experience—or even better, a solution?
