They are all going to be brushed. Polishing the rings can be done manually if needed. Polished is too shiny in my opinion.

No mallet, they need thinned. The rings pictured above are not finished, they are raw. In comparison to Dave's, they will be brushed more and have more luster. Not polished though. Dave's were more of a brushed silver finish.
