Mazdaspeed20035, why not get the MPNick treatment? surely it'd prolong the life of your turbo and actually produce numbers your build was meant to see.

I read it was the opposite of what your saying....that Awr motor mounts help against transmission destruction. I could of read wrong...who knows. I only have the front and side awr mounts and my 1st gear traction is useless but I haven't tried launching it in first though...trying to save my stock clutch for a little while longer.
 
little obsevation here.

the formula WHP = atmosphere+boost pressure X compression ratio
is typically only accurate on VERY efficient motors from what i have done with it. It works perfectly with your numbers

14.7+18 X 8.3 = 271.41whp

I am very impressed with your system. Even though others have made the same area of power with the stock compression ratio on less boost, I believe this shows the T25R isnt totally out of efficiency at 18psi. Of course when you add the new exhaust and larger turbo you are going to make even crazier numbers at the same level of boost, I am just surprised that the stocker is able to keep up at 18psi on a motor that is flowing much more cfm then stock. Have you ever measured your boost pressure from before the turbo?

FYI-DSMers frequent 18psi with their nonBB T25s are dont have reliability issues from what ive seen so the speed T25R should share similar results I would think.

Not a bad price, but i think i'll stick to mine for a little while before I spend that and since I don't have a T25. Thanks for the info!

There was a 2.0 FS DYNO that NICK showed that had a Nick turbo upgrade (of course) and it put down 300WHP at 15PSI. I am not sure what all mods it had (I don't remember now) but that is not bad for a small turbo.

i like the idea, but why only at 15 psi ? this turbo can give a little more. iam squeezing my s*** and getting some insane results.. my car it's so freaking fast that in a highway run and can race any freaking car out there and either keep up with them or beat them, obviously depending of the car, I've race corvettes, camaros, mustangs GT and either beat them or kept up with them. my last victim was a 2006 Mazeratti V8, if iam not mistaken they come with 400hp, and i beat him by a full car lenght and kept pulling.. I don't know about you guys, but i do really believes on my car posibilities and power.to be honest i love the way my cars pulls, accelerate and handle, but this racing and speed and power s*** it's addictive, so i need more and more power eveytime. but once you reach 270whp in the msp its more than enough power and fun.. its so freaking awesome... just my personal opinion.
 
im not sure about a mpinick'd t25 but i know that one boost level on the gt28rs is pushing alot more air than the same level boost on a t25, that may be why hes 'only' at 15 psi. i mean cmon hes doing that on stock internals, i think hes doing quite well right now.

and also, no offense mazdaspeed2003.5 but you keep saying the same thing almost every post. its like i either see 'performs like a champ every psi 12 13 14 15 16...' or 'my car is soooo fastzor, i pwn all the competition.' i mean yes i know youre car is hella faster than stock but sooner or later youre going to have some srt's or something comin down on your ass for thinkin youre the s***. try some modesty.

Your Very Funny Dude. everything i've said in here, was in a friendly and joking way. i'm not traying to be cool or show off you guys anything, if you don't have love and confident about your msp, your in the wrong thread or forum buddie. I didn't know this guy was pushing 15 psi on stock internals. i was just wondering why only 15 psi that's all. and about the SRT-4's they can all lick my ass. no matter how fast they are, and the end of the race and the day it's a freaking NEON. i'am not offending anyone with an SRT-4 my respect to all of them, but don't come up here talking like these cars are the ultimate Machine and freaking god of asphalt. i have raced Stage 3 Neons and beat them. oh yes theres lots of them kicking real ass out there, but there's also Better, Faster and Nicer looking Mazda's out there kicking even more ass than those freaking neons. I hate when people talks so much about those freaking cars. let me tell you something buddie, with all my respect to you, to everyone reading this thread and SRT-4's Owners, I would never change my msp stock or the way i have mine for any SRT-4 with 1,000 HP to wheels, like i said about the race i had with this mazerati guy. at the end of the race he lost, but he still drives a freaking bad ass Mazeratti, and my self a Turbo Protege. so basically like i had been beaten by STR-4's, at the end of the race he still owns a neon, and myself a Bad ass Limited Edition Mazdaspeed Protege.

exactly alfredo, i was so happy about the story i mentioned before. i dind't say anything to disrespect anyone in this forum, and make them feel bad. by the way i saw your car at TBK and its awesome. we should hang out some day, i wanna see that GT28RS of yours, we can all go to the new Track in Okeechobee and have some fun. and kick some ass. lol Alejo_NIN, SergMSP, you and I can go there all together and race and see others racing. i saw the track before yesterday its awesome dude... ohhhh I forgot, About Modesty, out of 5 SRT-4 owners, 4.9 of them, talk so much s*** about others peoples car, they think because they own a fast NEON they deserves to make people feel like s*** because they have fast cars, they think they are all unbeatable, the fastes, and the better, and let me tell you, those cars aint all that s***, i have beaten Stage 3 Neons, and Neons boosting 19 PSi, and you wanna know there comments after the race ? ohh I didn't want to push it hard, oh i miss 3er gear. you know, stupid excuses, when i have lost a race, i recognize that your car is fast, my respect to your hard work, but you are not going to hear from me that i have a bad ass car, my s*** is super fast and your s*** is not. i'am a friendly person who likes to share ideas, and moments... when i said that my car is fast it was because i was really happy that i beat a 80k car, and i wanted to share this moments to friends in here , and people that also would like to share their experiences...
 
yea i meant srt owners tend to be d bags and just sayin dont join the crowd boasting too much. i have only met one modest srt4 driver where im from and he happens to be the fastest one in the area, that right there is cool.

edit: nothing i said was meant to be hateful i was just commenting on the repetitiveness of it.

you are so right dude,my best friend has an srt4 and he is an asshole,but that neon is fast as hell just with a mopar 2.5 full exsht and mopar cai .I drove it last friday nite cause he was to drunk to drive so I drove as hard as could and it impresses me every time i drive it, that thing just pulls for ever but hate the sound thow and like u said the drivers are usually d baggs!

Hey Buddie I saw you Today in the Morning like around 11:45 am, in Pines Blvd. I saw you Heading South, and i was heading north, so by the time i did a U turn you disapear..
 
so is this track really only an 1/8th mile. I mean, you can pretty much tell who's gonna win by then but I don't get why they wouldnt do the full track in okechobee or however it's spelled.

When do u guys wanna arrange a meet down there, I'll go if we get a bunch of proteges there. Ms3,ms6's would also be very welcome.

Yeah, I was in ubber hurry to get to Sears for tools. Crafstman FTW!! I needed a breaker bar and JCELL was heading to my house so I was in a rush. Don't you live in Miami? I was gonna waite for you, I totally recognized you from the stock exhaust and rims.

Your turbo is WEAK, that's why I dissapeared...MUUAHAHAHAHA!!!
