I'm really looking forward to buying a 2010 speed 3 but I wanted to know what are the different things out ther that can change the smile. I came acorss one, but it still looks the same to. Has anyone seen a custom work done to change it or perhaps anys new parts out there? Also I keep seein the 2010 is slighty slower than the 2008, will it make a big difference or can this car still keep up and pass the majority. Of the cars on the road?

Coming for a current 2010 MS3 owner and one who had the 2007 MS3, I would say the "slower" feel is minimal. I can tell, but really its only in 1st and 2nd to help with the torque steer. Just change out the stock intake box and replace TIP you won't even notice. As for the front end, the only one I know of who makes an aftermarket front end is Autoexe. Considering you don't see that smiling front end when you are screaming down the road I wouldn't worry about it too much. Think of it this way.... you are giving someone a smartass grin just as you are about to pass them.

I as well had both the 2007 and the 2010... as I said it is very minimal but 1st and 2nd gear are slower according to Mazda on the gen2 vs the gen1. If it makes any difference they also claim the gen2 is faster 0-100 than the gen1 was though too.
