Grille LED Light Bar Issue (2021 CX-9 Signature)

I have a 2021 CX-9 Signature with the factory LED light bar across the bottom of the front grille. The left half of the grille is NOT equally as bright as the right half.

Anyone have any experience with diagnosing this? Or if you believe a replacement would be necessary. I don't believe it's one single long strip. It looks like a left strip and a right strip, probably powered on the same circuits as each of the lower fog lights.

I just want the entire light bar to look evenly bright on both sides. Anyone know if a replacement would be a whole process of removing the grille and bumper to get it there? or something a little more simple?

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Here is the left side part number TK5051070A
Below is the instruction from co pilot

  • Disconnect the Battery: Safety first! Disconnect the negative terminal of the car battery to prevent any electrical issues.
  • Remove the Front Grille: Unscrew and remove the bolts holding the front grille in place. Carefully take off the grille to access the light bar.
  • Disconnect the Light Bar: The grille light bar is typically connected to the fog light harness. Locate the wiring harness and disconnect it1. You might find a white plug on the fog light harness that connects to the light bar.
  • Install the New Light Bar: Connect the new grille light bar to the wiring harness. Ensure it's securely plugged in and positioned correctly.
  • Reassemble the Grille: Once the new light bar is connected, reattach the grille to your CX-9 and secure it with the bolts.
  • Reconnect the Battery: Reconnect the negative terminal of the car battery.

Wow. Thank you!! Excellent info. Appreciate this. I can't decide whether this sounds pretty easy, or an insane task. Lol
