anyways...

im looking to do some mods and will probably be unable to stop, but right now im looking for a drop in suspension, wheels and perhaps a turbo :D

who is the go to guy in the forum on all p5 issues? searching is long and tiring and a lot of stuff on the forum is also really old.

look forward to posting and joining the community.
ps, also own a 08 cx7 grand touring, w/ no mods. wifes car.boooo

Welcome man! Got some nice cars there, keep us posted on what you do to the P5. Good place to start for a decent turbo would be a used MSP one for sale on the formn, as for suspesion, go with Esplier Springs on Tokico Blues or Illuminas. Thats what I have on order and I haven't herd a bad thing about the combo yet. Unless your more of a coilover guy lol. Good Luck!

Welcome! If you want to go LOW, just spend the money on coilovers. Don't bother with springs.

That is the setup I am running and love it. Not very lo tho.

I am not a big fan of the slammed look personally, I does look nice on some cars and if its your thing, than by all means! but I think I am going for more of just a nice daily driver, and the espliers seem to get good reviews based on that

thanks for the info. i think coilovers so i can adjust for the few snow storms. turbo seems silly for this car, but maybe some day. i think some nice cosmetic mods and some na options

Yeah I am staying N/A, the protege is more of a drivers car, spend some good money on suspension and then do the basic I/H/E. After that, motormounts, UDP, VCTS removal and maybe cams. Iuno just some food for thought lol

appreciate it. dont have a garage right now, so the rims may have to wait; dont feel like donating those to anyone right now. already had my pioneer avic z1 taken, bastards

took one today. its completely stock so not putting anything up yet. waiting for headlights w/ blacked out housing to replace the ones on there now, since they r fogged up ugly, and working on tints soon. then some more slowly. lack of garage making me not want to indulge too much right now
