Greddy E-manage for the MSP!

acutally, if you guys read this thread, i stated that there is a way to not have to buy the support tool, PM me if you are interested...

yeah but its still about 50US for that cable anyway, If I was buying it all new I would have went that way though :)

oh and back to our question, does the emanage logger actually show the afr?

I was never really worried about the support cable. All of the ones I'm looking at include it, and it still comes out to be less.

cool, and no, the software does not show A/F at all, that is why you need the WB...

SinceEssential Speed takes forever, are there any other O2 modifiers that will work?

Britt

Greddy makes one, will it work? #15900908

yeah britt, the flyin miata one should be the same thing, in fact someone had one for sale on here, check out the for sale section, i don't remember who though...

well, here's an update, sorry it's been a while:

1. i have been sorting out some issues over the past 3 weeks with a new MAF, i decided to go with a Z32 MAF from a 300zx...here is a suggestion that took me a while to figure out, if you are going to upgrade to a different MAF, then go ahead an install it at the same time that you install the Emanage and leave the resistor off from the wiring diagram...or, just make sure that you can get to the wiring to remove the resistor when you do upgrade.

2. also, i am going to be retuning some stuff, so i will post all of my maps so that you guys have something to work from that are starting with the Emanage. the maps will be posted by tomorrow at the latest...

here are the updated maps:

Erick,

Can you send me your .gsc file? I don't want to use it on my car, I just want to look at the maps interactively while I'm waiting for a couple more parts so I can install.

yeah, what's your email?

Erick, I have one question. Why didn't you change the scale of the maps? You aren't going to rev to 8000rpm (are you?), so why not add some resolution by making the maps go only to 7000rpm (just in case), and put the points closer together where you need finer tuning?

the emanage automatically interpolates the rpm points for you, the only way you would be able to do a better job than the software is to brake it down to 100rpm increments...which i don't think is possible

will the emanage be ok for me to use but will only use the 2 sub-injector controller instead of having the emanage control the 4 injectors?

how many ingnition wires did you use? (sorry for the dumb question)
