with the Emanage wired-in, you don't have to make any changes, therefore you are not overriding anything, so it is just like stock...the O2 Modifier is a different story though, if it is hooked up, it is making changes as soon as it sees boost...brennan said:Ok, I've read the whole thread(Great thread by the way(cool) )
I just have a question, If you wanted to go back to stock is that possible when you have Emanage,MPI or Haltech computer overriding your ECU??
patients man, patients...like i said, i will have some available soon enough, just make sure you wire-in the O2 Modifier at the same time, otherwise the Emanage is useless on our car, trust me, i know....LOL!!!!napmsp said:more logs please!!!!!!! how about some fuel and timimg tables as well.... my emanage is going in this week finally work has slowwed down enough for me to do it....
no, you can go back to stock, you just have to disconnect it...brennan said:Sweet deal, SO if you use a 02 Modifier, You wouldn't be able to go back to stock??
I agree. I would get a gauge eventually, but I'm also impatient and want to start playing with the Emanage before I actually make any real changes. I want to feel comfortable with the setup before I start messing with settings.tekkie said:Honestly man if you have a cheap hook up get it now anyway to save yourself the money, thats what I did. I plan to get the AEM Uego from Arunto either way because I want to be able to see the readings all the time, that way if you see it running lean you can let off the gas and look for the problems![]()
No, you can't. Even if you could, I wouldn't recommend it, if only for the resolution. I'm sure that you could get the support tool at hook up through serial adaptors that are available for pocket pc's, but the software would need to be ported to whatever OS you have (PocketPC would be the most likely).jonbig said:can you use a palm pilot thing instead of a lap top? j/w

I also want to ask, do you think that the Emanage unit and support tool + software for $275 shipped is a good deal? Does anyone know where I can find a better deal (maybe some sensors/harnesses included)? What can I do with it if I don't have any harnesses or extra sensors right away? I will be happy for a while if I can at least datalog to get a feel for what the car is doing...
THANKS!
