Greddy E-manage for the MSP!

couple of more questions,
The Auto tune comes with a built in O2 clamp. Anybody know if you can get it without one built in? I already have a FM VC.

Also P5t talked about a DIY version of the Autotune. Any more info on this?

Lastly can I get just the wideband "brain" and the WB O2 sensor without the gauge? I've seen the older ones came seperatly. I could use the wideband output to feed the emanage/autotune and the narrowband output to feed the stock ecu and the autometer narrow band gauge.

ok emanage is all in. All wired up. Car starts (barely) and then dies right away.

Is this becasue i do not have the pressure module in yet?

Ok think i figured that problem out, i was not calibrating the TBS correctly.

P5T, on your airflow adjustment map its all just "0's" is that because of your "AutoTune"?

viral: your car doesnt start also?

i changed plugs so far the car runs better but still doesn't idle. i have to keep on pressing the gas pedal and my maf out is high it's around 2.80 while the maf in varries

Bauer: It starts but then dies...but after the maps and the ignition harness was done...no probs at all.. also talk to Tekkie, he is the guru fo sho

Viral: guess have to check the wirings again. And i think my egr and iac has some problems i'll put it back after cleaning it and see what happens

i'll keep you updated on the emanage set-up since my ecu is different from all of you.

Are you using the resistor for the MAF?
I soldered mine into the EM ecu, works a lot better, that cheesy resistor box that greddy supplies doesn't work so well...

Then your problem is with the MAF/resistor connection.
MAF out should change as MAF in changes if it doesn't then you really need recheck the solder joints at the MAF, resistor and grounds.

On a side note what size injectors?, --the car on just the stock ECU may have issues idling 440's, I never used them in a Protege so I don't know..

yeah I think your right man that greddy resistor box sucks, I soldered mine today and now my car starts perfectly every time, before it would not start worth a s***

yep i did solder mine but it only affects the maf input. i'm having problems with the maf output. it read .08 volts

ok here are a bunch of things I suspect could be the problem maybe

1) recalibrate the throttle position, mine kept stalling like crazy and after I re did this it worked much better
2) check and make sure that your air flow meter change is set to MZ_HW-1 in the paramater settings
3) make sure that you do not have the anti stall feature enabled

or better yet send me a copy of your file and I can have a look and see if I can find the problem :) (tekkie@gmail.com)

I have had lots of issues but they were all dumb mistakes on my part, now that I have all of that ironed out its working great

yeah just fixed everything works great but somehow my iac valve is ****** up. i used the pcv for my bov, then on friday morning around 10am my car idles badly. I have to put a vacuum leak just to raise the idle. We finished tuning arounf 3am friday. pulls great at 10psi
