Me too, I can't wait. Why are you getting a replacement crank pulley. I got the original, and later recieved the replacement screws. Was there a problem with this too?

brach, how do i get the old timing ring off the old pulley without bending or otherwise messing it up? after removing all the screws, it's not coming off?? looks like the loctite is in play here? thanks

got it off, thanks brach! i'm hoping to get all the medieval pullys on next week, along with my new belt, water pump, adj. timing gears and new valve cover!:D

you dont really gain hp..you just make up lost hp due to the weight reduction. but yeah I have noticed a nice gain down low from stops all the way up to redline.

Noone's arguing the concept, it was just the comedy of the irony in the delivery........ya know, it sounded funny when you read it still knowing what was meant.

To me the butt dyno didn't notice much (only had accessories, not crank on at the time) but I did notice that it ran through the revs more quickly. So there's certainly an increase in power headed to the wheels. Will you notice it? Maybe not. But when you're talking a 170-200whp car (most of ours are) 5% is a pretty good gain for something so simple.

No you don't but yes you do? You have a bright political future. lol

Lol then I will be following in the footsteps of my father...but he is only in city politics.

never too late to go to law school instead of engineering school (homework)

Im not going to say anything about my current pulleys condition except they are all great. I dont want to jinx myself.

So what happened was the lip came off and then what?

Place the pulley on the pump shaft as best as possible. Be quick as it ill cool fast.
In the center of the pump shaft is a hole that has threads. It might not look like it because of it being dirty, but they are there. Get a bolt and large washer. Place the washer down on the pulley, the bolt through it and start threading the bolt into the pumps shaft. This will help pull the pulley down and onto the pump shaft. Remember it's a VERY TIGHT FIT! Another way is to use a block of wood and place it over the pulley and hammer it down straight. I would recommend using a press though.
505zoom is writing up a how to.

What size/thread bolt we talking here?
