Try waiting 5+ months after putting down big money guys, this is going very fast and smooth. The first pulleys came through very quickly because he wasnt going outta town during that time. He's been keeping everyone informed on a regular basis, that should be enough.

Nah, i wasnt directing toward twiggy cams. Just a general statement. Ive waited months after months for certain items ive purchased that were not even produced yet. This is probably the quickest yet, other than my Advans.

Was dropped off on the 23rd, priority mail, and I am like 2 states away so it should have been here on the 25-26th like Pirana's. On the 29th it shows up in freakin Alaska, but somehow makes it here to New Mexico for delivery today. Haha, stupid USPS.

I think most people are just keeping the stocker. I don't see a reason to change it.
Just the two pulleys that were already out... I'm late to this game.
And yeah I have shipped stuff personally (and for BoostSciences) to Canada, and it always takes forever. Always gets there though. I would honestly rather pay the extra 15-20 bucks to not have to deal with that crap, but to each his own.
Upgraded pulleys deserve upgraded belts.
I was thinking of snagging a set of Gates... pretty expensive, but they last forever from what I hear. Look nice too.

I know this is a n00b question but where is the best place to find those belts? Cuz I asked Autozone and they said "a Protege wagon?".......that was the moment I hung up the phone.

Autozone has the gatorbacks. Don't ask for wagon just ask for protege 2.0l.

I've heard a lot of complaints about the "nubs" on the gatorbacks wearing out, and they have stretching problems as well.
Just got back from Parts Plus where I snagged some Gates Micro-V GreenStripe belts. Was going to pony up and order the high performance blue belts, but oh well these are here and they are 1/4th the price. Paid 25 bucks for the 2 belts.

I had Gates green stripe ones on the oem crank pulley. Never had any noise or problems with stretching. Same with the gatorbacks so far. Only had to retighten once after installing which is normal for any belts. Lost no nubs either. Pretty much same s*** so far, one no better than the other. Time will tell I suppose. The gates were on there for about 30k maybe & I'm at 75k now with no issues from the gatorbacks.
